I am sorry to hear about snarky woman and the messy challenge she presents, but glad to hear about your weight loss goals being met. I also wish there were some other way for you to proceed without the surgery, but you know yourself well, and what you need to do for your own success. Enjoy your fondue!

I can’t even imagine how it feels to leave Daisy at daycare. Once, a while ago, I had to drop my shoes off at the shoe place to get them fixed, and I cried all day afterward. If they had a webcam at the shoe-fixer-dude’s store, that would have been much better. Can you post the link to the doggy daycare webcam so we can all keep an eye on Daisy?

There are no personality conflicts at work. If you supervise someone, they treat you with respect and do things your way or they collect unemployment. But unemployment isn’t so bad. I was very excited about being unemployed when I found out I would face a monthly battle with COBRA, but I am a big fan of GI Joe.

I’m glad you get along with your manager, but it’s never too early to start plotting how you can get her fired so you can have her job. Just saying.

If you run into that last interviewer, you’ll have to let us know if, in fact, she really hated you. If so, she probably hates everyone, and you didn’t realize during the interview how much less she hated you than everyone else.

That’s a reasonable question. They recently proved that addiction to food is the same as addiction to crack or meth. I’m addicted to food and need help to control that addiction because I’ve lost and regained the weight so many times.

Fondue sounds awesome for Thanksgiving. I am going to suggest that for Friday’s supper at mom and dad’s. Whoo Hoo! And I’m with Mrs. Chili on the gastric bypass. If you’re already doing the deal, then doing it without surgery would be awesome! Don’t know. Happy Thanksgiving, darlin. And I’m glad the job is going well.

Jules, you’re right; it IS too early for Christmas decorations… for me. If you want them up now, though, put them up now and screw anyone who doesn’t like it. Your house, your rules.

Forgive my asking this, but I really don’t know because I’ve had no experience with this; if your weight loss is going well, can you forgo the surgery? I would think that anything that can be done to avoid invasive procedures is a good thing…

It’s great that there’s a web cam so that you can keep an eye on Daisy during the day. Poor baby. I hope she gets used to it soon, for both your sakes. I would feel the same way.
